Mission
The mission of M.I.N.D. School House, LLC is to empower thoughtful, capable learners through a research-informed model that bridges academic excellence with character development.
In our intentional, small-scale community, students don’t just master subjects; they master the habits of mind—curiosity, resilience, and responsibility—needed to lead a life of fulfillment.
Story
M.I.N.D. School House, LLC was created with a deep understanding that adolescence is one of the most important stages in a student’s development. During the middle school years, the brain is rapidly strengthening executive function, shaping identity, and expanding the capacity for complex thinking and self-regulation. Recognizing the significance of this developmental window, M.I.N.D. School House, LLC was intentionally designed to support both cognitive and personal growth during these formative years—helping students build the skills, confidence, and self-understanding needed to thrive in school and beyond.

Schedule
Monday through Thursday are full school days, students engage in focused learning across core subjects through hands-on lessons, thoughtful discussion, and mastery-based work at appropriately challenging levels. Throughout the week, students also strengthen character development —while participating in engaging learning activities that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful participation. Half-day Fridays are designed to bring learning to life.
A detailed schedule will be shared during the information session. Part-time enrollment may be considered as program develops.

Program
By way of our evidence-based instructional approach, students engage in rigorous, interdisciplinary academic study designed to cultivate critical thinking, curiosity, and deep understanding.

Mastery- Based Core Academics
Students learn in small groups with an 8:1 or smaller student-to-teacher ratio, allowing instruction to be tailored to each learner. In our mastery-based model, students may work at different levels of content while building deep understanding. Lessons combine small-group instruction, individual support, and hands-on learning that connects academic concepts to real-world application.

Character Development
In these whole-school classes, students come together as a community to develop executive functioning, social-emotional, and leadership skills. Led by the school’s founder, students build self-management, responsibility, and leadership of self and others.

Applied Learning Fridays
Fridays are dedicated to applied learning experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom. Students participate in field trips, group and individual projects, leadership and community-building experiences, and end the quarter celebrations and recognition of growth and effort.

Tuition
Projected tuition for the 2026–2027 school year will be shared during the information session. Tuition information will also be published on the website in the coming months as the school prepares for its opening.
